I have a website, tokencatalog.com, which is an online token catalog. It is a user contribution site and it's content is growing. My desire is to get additional listings for the website, and to share the listing information I have with others. Is anyone working on cataloging wooden nickels? I have about 1300 online, with 900 of them imaged. Oregon is the most complete listing area because that is my collecting interest. I would be interested in finding out if any wooden nickel collectors are intersted in building the online database, or has any interest to my existing listings. Thanks for you time, Richard Greever - rgreever @ hotmail.com

"GOOD FOR ONE RIDE" in my Model T Ford Wooden Nickel.
Recently I sold the two Ford Model Ts that I had and I have no further use for them. I am not interested in selling them but I'm sure some collectors would like a couple for their collection. I will offer to give any collector 2 of them for sending me a self addressed and stamped envelope.

While going through my grandfather's estate I came upon 25 wooden coins.
The Obverse pictures the head of a man, and the Reverse has the inscription

I collect military issued and military used woods.
This includes reunion pieces and veterans organizations such as AMVETS,
VIETNOW, DAV (Disabled American Veterans), American Legion, VFW, 40 et 8,
Army Club, Air Force Club, Coast Guard Club, Navy Club, Marine Corps Club,
Marine Corps League and all of their Auxiliaries. This does not include the
Boy Scouts. I will buy all that you have if cheap (with no cherry picking).
I will also pay for copies of what you have with cash or woods. Place your
pieces in 2x2 pages and xerox both sides then make a note of the colors. The
more help you are the more woods you get. I am trying to compile a book
listing of these pieces and all help will be acknowledged.
